Love Is A Killer

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Love isn’t always sweet.

Los Angeles’ Esotouric bus tours is showing the darker side of love this Valentine’s Day (Feb. 14) with their Blood & Dumplings tour, which takes passengers to locales that have been scenes of love gone horribly wrong.

Tour-goers will learn tragic and grisly love stories, like that of crime writer James Ellroy, whose murdered mother became the inspiration for many of his dark novels, and the jealous man who beat his Native American girlfriend to death for staring at men at parties.

The bus will also visit the scene of “love which cannot be spoken,” where a man killed his niece, with whom he was having an affair, not out of shame but because he couldn’t pay her back money she’d loaned him and didn’t want to hear his sister’s complains.

Tour host Richard Schave says, “These are love stories, but not in the traditional sense. These are visions of what love means, and the awful, crazy, terrible things that make it so interesting.”
