Two besotted male birds at Chinas Polarland wildlife park have just waddled down the aisle in their God-given tuxedos, and though they lack opposable thumbs, they still managed to tie the knot.
Buck Wolf of About.coms Weird News Central says we shouldnt forget about the hardships these Antarctic birds suffered along that long road to matrimony.
He explains, At one point, the zookeepers kept them isolated because they were stealing other penguins eggs for their own nest. It look a while for the animal handlers to realize that these two gay birds were the best parents in the flock. Now, they let them raise the eggs other penguin mothers reject.
Now that gay penguin weddings have taken flight in China, Wolf is hoping to help arrange weddings for homosexual zoo creatures all over the United States.
