Dumb Celebs Make Stupid Statements In 2008

TAVARES, Fla. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Stupid celebrities came out with some truly half-witted words in 2008.

Self-proclaimed “mega genius” Jim Diamond has just released his annual Stupidest Statements Awards, his list of the top 10 dumb comments made by people in the public eye in the last year.

Topping this year’s list is Indian welfare minister Vijay Prakash, who urged five-star hotels to serve rat by saying, “It is very high in protein and the beauty is that we have billions of rats.”

Not too far behind Prakash is Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin, who had a hard time naming a Supreme Court ruling she disagreed with.

She said, “Well, let’s see. There’s, of course, in the great history of America there have been rulings, that’s never going to be absolute consensus by every American.”

Diamond explains that a truly stupid statement comes from someone who’s unable to learn anything new.

He usually counts on President George W. Bush and Paris Hilton for dumb zingers, but they didn’t make the cut this year.
