Christmas Light Services Not Burned By Economy

LONG BEACH, Calif. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – The sagging economy can’t pull the plug on one brilliant Christmas service.

St. Nick’s Christmas Light Service decks out houses and buildings with holiday lights and decorations.

Although sales started slow this season, owner Nick Adams says festive folks aren’t skimping on Christmas trimmings.

Customers have been saving up for weeks and are now requesting lighting services left and right, despite the recession.

Adams believes people are willing to splurge on holiday decor because Christmas comes only once a year.

Much like the Lipstick Effect, people want to purchase little things or services that make them feel good, such as Christmas lights, during tough times.

However, Adams has noticed a huge swell in requests for interior Christmas decorating this year over exterior lighting because people want to make sure the inside of their home looks good for holiday entertaining.
