Brolin Josh Brolins dad is very concerned about the climate crisis and thinks its possible for the Earth to be drowned in melting ice caps if global warming persists.
The rising ocean levels are the basis of his new Sci-Fi Channel movie, Lost City Raiders, which premieres tomorrow (Nov. 22).
He hopes the film set 40 years in the future, when 70 percent of the Earths land is submerged in water gets people thinking now about the environment.
Says Brolin: The clock is ticking and global warming is happening, just as Al Gore predicted. We have to accept what weve done to the planet and try to fix it.
Brolin thinks that if America had stuck to producing electric cars like in the early 1900s, substantial amounts of fuel and energy wouldve been conserved.
He hopes the TV flick catches the attention of those who scoff at the idea of global warming.
