Artist Paints House By Numbers

SEATTLE (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – A Seattle artist has turned his home into the ultimate paint-by-numbers experience.

Jo David has collected 250 paint-by-numbers portraits over the years and converted his home, which is a converted church from 1914, into his crappy art haven.

David has literally covered the walls of his house frame-to- frame in the kitschy masterpieces, which include paintings of clowns, Elvis, ballerinas, and Jesus.

David says, “I started collecting for 10 years, haunting eBay everyday looking to find cheap deals. I think we might have to start putting them on the ceiling since there’s so many of them.”

Guests to David’s eccentric digs are often, as he puts it, left “flabbergasted and impressed” and don’t expect to find such a strange collection when they walk through the door.

But he says, “People walk in and don’t get it, but they like it. It’s been a big hit with parties my wife and I throw.”
