Aaron Meza has been a voiceover actor for more than 21 years, showcasing his pipes on everything from Taco Bell and Shakeys Pizza commercials to JC Penney ads.
Most recently, Meza was hired to voice an alien villain for a video game, and it was his unique voice and acting chops that landed him the gig.
Meza says having a quirky voice can actually be a blessing in disguise, and those with weird vocals may find their calling as a voiceover actor.
However, the competition in the voiceover world is fierce, and if you want to be the next great movie trailer announcer, it requires practice.
Meza suggests reading out loud to kids to improve narration skills, taking acting workshops, and making valuable showbiz connections.
His CD, Do You Have A Money Mouth? available on Amazon.com, explains how to make money being a voiceover actor.
