Soap Star Commits Literary Murder

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – One soap siren has committed a heinous murder using her pen.

Soap star Eileen Davidson – who plays Ashley Abbott on The Young and the Restless and The Bold and the Beautiful – knows a thing or two about crazy plotlines, and she’s showing it in her new literary venture.

Davidson is writing a soap opera book series and the mysterious first novel, Death in Daytime, is on shelves now.

The novel weaves together murder, mystery, and jealousy, which Davidson knows very well.

She says, “I’ve seen so many things behind the scenes. The competitive nature of actresses, superficiality, people trying to get people fired. It’s cutthroat.”

Thankfully, there’s been no actual deaths committed on set that weren’t part of the daytime drama.

Though she’s never been accused of murder like her book’s leading lady, Davidson admits there’s been a few mean actresses she wanted to take a stab at in the past.
