Just ask Gillian Larson, the 61-year-old adventurous granny who got voted off Survivor: Gabon last Friday (Sep. 26).
Larson says that just because she got the boot from the reality competition, it doesnt mean older folks cant hack it in tough situations.
She says, A huge part of my Survivor journey was to show people that if you want to do something, you can do it, even if youre someone my age.
Though Larson didnt get to fulfill her dream of becoming the oldest Survivor winner in the shows history, she doesnt plan on slowing down her adventurous life.
Larson is already training for a 36-mile marathon and plans to swim the freezing, mile-and-a-half distance from Alcatraz to the San Francisco Bay.
She says, Ill still be taking life by the tail until my body doesnt work anymore.
Survivor: Gabon airs Thursdays on CBS.
