Scary Clowns Cause Fear Of Twins

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Scary clowns may lead to an irrational fear of identical twins.

The Micro Museum in New York is holding an exhibit from September 27 to November 15 titled Twins: Sets of 2, which will showcase art pieces inspired by the number two and twins.

Along with paintings, photographs, and collages, the museum will exhibit 22 identical evil, laughing clowns alongside an interactive rug that, when stepped on, makes the creepy clowns laugh maniacally.

According to museum curator Kathleen Laziza, the scary, giggling clowns may leave attendees with a prejudice against twins.

She jokes, “People will associate twins with evil clowns, and that might put them off twins for the rest of their lives. They’re that scary.”

Though she’s sure the clowns will leave people either “terrified or enchanted,” Laziza believes people’s fears may wear off a bit and they’ll be able to enjoy a good chuckle with the terrifying pieces.

She explains, “They’ll be startled at first and maybe freak out, but laughter is contagious.”
