‘Top Model’ Wannabe Rejected For Being ‘Pretty’

HENDERSON, Nev. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – It sounds counterproductive, but one Top Model wannabe was just rejected for being “pretty.”

Brittany Rubalcaba was eliminated from America’s Next Top Model this past Wednesday (Sep. 17), after Tyra Banks and her crew decided she was just “too pretty” for the high-fashion world.

Rubalcaba showed her disgust over repeatedly being called “pretty” during the competition, and says she tried her best to be modelesque and “fierce.”

She says, “Once I got the stigma of being pretty, it stuck. I hated being called that! I wanted to break the mold and stand out, not just be pretty.”

However, since the show, she’s realized that being pretty may not be so agonizing.

She’s altering her high-fashion dreams and trying to become a catalogue or commercial model instead, as Tyra suggested.

She wants to use her looks to model make-up or become a Victoria’s Secret Angel.

Top Model airs Wednesdays on The CW.
