Las Vegas Hits Jackpot For Displaced NFL Fans

EL SEGUNDO, Calif. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Las Vegas is the No. 1 city where displaced football fanatics still root for their hometeam.

According to a survey by DIRECTV, Sin City is home to the most displaced, devoted supporters of far away teams like the Chicago Bears, Denver Broncos, Oakland Raiders, and San Diego Chargers.

Other cities where displaced fans live include Orlando, Florida, where followers of the New England Patriots, Buffalo Bills, and Detroit Lions reside, and Washington, D.C., which houses tons of displaced fans for its notorious rival, the Dallas Cowboys.

Since there are so many stalwart gridiron fans, DIRECTV is launching a search for the Ultimate Displaced Fan now through November 30.

NFL fans can enter submissions on DIRECTV.com/NFL staking their claims for the title through essays, photos, or videos. The winner will get a trip to Super Bowl XLIII, and meet and greets with Eli Manning and a player from their favorite team.

DIRECTV – which has the exclusive NFL Sunday Ticket service – is also kicking off their new line of remote controls featuring NFL teams’ colors and logos.
