Traffic, Toilets, And Trash Rank Higher Than Buying A Warranty

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Consumers prefer dealing with traffic, toilets, and trash over having to buy warranties for their products.

GreenUmbrella.com – an online extended service plan that offers consumers all-in-one protection for all of their products for $9.95 – has just conducted a poll that reveals how much consumers hate the hassle of purchasing a warranty plan.

Turns out, 30 percent of men and 20 percent of women prefer taking out the trash over buying extended service plans.

Other warranty woes include...

  • 19 percent of women and 13 percent of men would rather be stuck in traffic than get stuck buying a warranty from a salesperson.

  • 10 percent of gals and 7 percent of guys prefer cleaning the bathroom to buying a product protection plan.

  • 9 percent of women would rather go to the dentist than get drilled into buying a warranty, while 16 percent of men would rather visit the in-laws.

  • Finally, 90 percent of folks say pushy salespeople “always or sometimes” turn them off when purchasing an extended service plan, and 21 percent feel “cheated” by warranties.
