‘Ghost Hunters’ Find World’s Most Haunted Hotspot

PARKLAND, Fla. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – One globetrotting ghost hunter has finally found the world’s most haunted place.

Robb Demarest leads a team of ghost-busters through the world’s scariest locations for the upcoming season of The Sci-Fi Channel’s Ghost Hunters International, which premieres Wednesday (Jul. 9).

The worldwide ghost hunt took Demarest and his fellow investigators to South Africa, England, Eastern Europe, and New Zealand, where they had the creepiest encounter of them all.

Demarest says, “We captured the best visual evidence of a ghost I’ve ever seen at Larnach Castle in New Zealand. It’s shocking and very real. I’d say the castle is the most haunted place in the world.”

Although Larnach Castle is old, he says age has nothing to do with a location’s haunt factor because it only takes one horrible event to make a place a supernatural scene.

Throughout his terrifying travels, Demarest discovered that spirits are more culturally accepted in other countries, and says he didn’t get as many strange looks overseas after revealing his ghost hunting occupation.
