New England Is The Top Hot Dog Region

BOSTON (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – New England is the top dog for hot dogs.

Famed sports radio personality Eddie Andelman, who’s considered the godfather of sports talk, is giving people a taste of the finest franks in America at the 19th Annual Hot Dog Safari on Sunday (June 1) in Boston, Massachusetts.

The event, which benefits Cystic Fibrosis research, is a way for Andelman to profess his love for the ballpark staple.

He says, “A hot dog is your friend. It’s the go-to for all sports fans. It’s fun, mobile, and you can eat it with one hand. Who wants lamb chops? Give me pigs in a blanket!”

Andelman has a special place in his heart for his hometown hot dogs.

He explains, “Chicago hot dogs look like they’ve got everything from a dumpster on them, and New York hot dogs are filled with garlic. New England hot dogs are different from the rest of the country. You won’t find them three for a dollar at any gas station.”
