Guidebook Reveals Naked Truth About College

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – A popular college guidebook is revealing the naked truth about freshman year.

How to Survive Your Freshman Year (Hundreds of Heads) features advice from more than 500 college students, who tackle common freshman anxieties from how to deal with roommates to the seedier side of school, like sex, drugs, and drinking.

In its third edition, editor Frances Northcutt – a freshman advisor at Hunter College in New York – decided current issues like social networking needed to be addressed.

She says, “Some of the stories in the book will hopefully make you stop and think before you put that naked picture up on Facebook!”

While the school survival stories give students the tactics to stay ahead of the class, Mark W. Bernstein – creator of the Hundreds of Heads guides – says sometimes it’s the advice from the dropouts that help the most.

Bernstein says, “We heard from people who partied every night and flunked out. That’s important for learning what not to do.”

How to Survive Your Freshman Year is out now.
