‘Girlicious’ Reject Wants To Revive Glam Rock

FAIRFIELD, Ill. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – The latest Girlicious cast-off isn’t sweating her elimination – in fact, she’s ready to rock!

Carrie Jones was voted off Pussycat Dolls Present: Girlicious this past Wednesday (Apr. 9), after Pussycat Doll diva and founder Robin Antin decided Jones was too edgy for Girlicious and would be a better solo artist.

And Jones couldn’t agree more.

The rocker girl – who enjoys girl power music like Blondie, Joan Jett, and Heart – says she didn’t quite fit in with the urban vibe of Girlicious and wants to conquer the rock genre instead – with a heavy dose of glamour.

Jones loves big haired, sequined, 80s glam rock bands like Def Leppard, Poison, and Guns N’ Roses, and wants to bring back the rockin’ music movement.

She says, “I wore the big, 80s glam rock hair even when it wasn’t in style! I’m ready to revive glam rock. That’s my music!”

Girlicious now airs Wednesdays on The CW.
