This past weekend (Apr. 5-6), Jackie Bibby took home the top prize at the 36th Annual National Rattlesnake Sacking Championships in Taylor, Texas, by successfully stuffing 10 wild rattlesnakes into a sack in only 37.16 seconds.
According to event chairman Shawn Jonas, a good snake sacker has to be fast and have a lot of nerve, talents which he believes Bibby possesses with slithering animals and ladies.
He says, Jackie loves playing with snakes, and he loves good looking girls. He charms them both.
Bibby, who was the oldest competitor in this years event, says he loved beating out the younger competition, but its the perks of the sport he enjoys the most.
Bibby says, For a fat, bald-headed man, I do all right with the ladies. They love outlaws, and Im a bit of one myself because snake sacking is a dangerous, outlaw sport.
