Canadian Rockers Play For Leggy Ladies

BURLINGTON, Ontario (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – One Canadian band is living the rockstar dream by playing for a group of gorgeous, scantily clad ladies.

On April 11, during the swimsuit portion of The 2008 Miss USA Pageant telecast, Finger Eleven will play a live, nine-minute arrangement of their hit song “Paralyzer” as the nation’s beauty queens strut their stuff.

Although a rock band at a beauty pageant seems like an odd match, guitarist Rick Jackett says the Miss USA gig is perfect for Finger Eleven.

Jackett explains, “There’s nothing more rock ’n roll than girls in bathing suits! It’ll feel like we’re in a conservative version of a music video with a bunch of hot girls.”

He hopes their lengthy swimsuit song will help the girls groove on stage and keep them focused on the crown, although surprises are welcome.

Jackett says, “It’d be pretty amazing if one of the girls lost control during her walk and busted a move to our song in high heels. We’re just hoping we don’t lose our focus as the girls walk by!”

The 2008 Miss USA Pageant airs live this Friday (Apr. 11) on NBC.
