Shop Sells Fizzy, Freaky Soda Pop

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – A Los Angeles-based soda shop is serving up freaky flavored soda pop.

For the past 10 years, Galco’s Soda Pop Stop has been serving more than 500 different kinds of soft drinks, including wacky flavors like lemongrass dry soda and extra hot ginger ale, which is known to leave lips blistered from the heat.

Another strange soda is the moxie elixir, which tastes like carbonated cough syrup and, according to shop owner John Nese, “changes flavors on you depending on how you’re feeling.”

Nese says the soda fountain is all about providing choices that you don’t find anywhere else, and that even the most disgusting flavors will eventually entice anyone who’s willing to try them.

He explains, “There will be a flavor one person likes and 20 think is terrible. But then half of that 20 will come back and buy a case of that flavor because it grew on them.”
