Gelato Parlor Plans Cheesy April Fool’s (Apr. 1) Surprise

VANCOUVER, B.C. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – A gelato parlor in Vancouver, British Columbia, is giving customers a cheesy April Fool’s Day (Apr. 1) surprise.

La Casa Gelato offers more than 500 types of gelato ranging from pistachio to far-out flavors like cherimoya – an exotic Peruvian fruit – and Durian, a sour-smelling fruit from Southeast Asia.

Tomorrow (Apr. 1), in honor of April Fool’s Day, owner Vince Miscero will unveil a cool new flavor, and although he’s keeping it a surprise, he divulges, “It’ll be something with a very strong cheese.”

Miscero’s gorgonzola and blue cheese gelato flavors are already top sellers, and while it sounds funky, Miscero’s latest cheesy creation is no joke.

He says, “It sounds pranky, but we want it to sell!”

Whatever Miscero makes, it’ll be better than one previous crazy concoction.

He says, “We made chocolate fudge and smoked salmon gelato once. It sold a few cones and then we took it right off the shelf.”
