‘Top Model’ Cast-Off Upset With Reality TV Editing

SAN FRANCISCO (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – The latest Top Model cast-off would like a word with the editors of the reality show.

Marvita Washington was eliminated from America’s Next Top Model this past Wednesday (Mar. 19), after head honcho Tyra Banks believed the aspiring model had lost her confidence and was no longer interested in the competition.

However, Washington insists that wasn’t the case, and is upset with the way she was “edited” on Top Model to appear like she was defeated and wanted to go home.

She explains, “My words got misconstrued in editing or something. When I saw my episodes, I was like, ‘What the hell?’ I’m pretty good at walking [on the runway], and I hate the way they made it seem like I can’t walk. I KNOW I’m Top Model material! I wanted to win.”

Washington enjoyed all of the fierce photoshoots and challenges, except for one where the models were asked to “vogue” and have a pose-off.

She says, “Voguing has never really been my thing, so that was tough. But it taught me to be softer.”

Top Model airs Wednesdays on The CW.
