Thats because tomorrow is National Bird Day, and bird lovers are chirping to celebrate their feathered friends.
According to Bird Day spokesperson Monica Engebretson, people are doing everything from having art shows about birds to having Buddhist monks come in and bless their large aviaries.
Says Engebretson, Theres just so much going on, and we figured we should help people realize that birds need as much love and attention as a child would.
So for Saturday, Engrebretson recommends people actually spend time with Polly by letting him jump out from behind bars and do some bird-brained free flying around the house.
Engebretson says, People forget birds need as much attention as they do. Birds live a very long time, but they have the mentality of a two-year-old. They never grow up.
