Horror Movie Classics Make For A Chilling Halloween At Home

SACRAMENTO (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – You don’t need to leave your house to have a hell-raising Halloween.

For folks passing on the trick-or-treat festivities tonight (Oct. 31), horror movie maven “Evil” Sid Heberger, who heads the monster movie festival Trash Film Orgy in Sacramento, California, has some horrifying rental recommendations for a creepy Halloween at home.

Heberger says the original Night of the Living Dead and Evil Dead are the go-to gore movies you want to watch, but suggests steering clear from lame movies that fall short on fright factor.

Says Heberger: “Movies like The Blob are cheesy and not even scary. It’s hard to get really frightened by gelatinous ooze.”

Though Heberger counts the classic A Nightmare on Elm Street as the best horror movie of all time, she doesn’t fancy Freddie Krueger’s chances in a cage match of horror villain supremacy.

She says, “Between Freddie, Michael Myers, and all those guys, I’d say Ash from Evil Dead would win in a cage match because he’s got a chainsaw.”
