Classical Pianist Has Material Dreams

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – One piano virtuoso has a “Borderline” embarrassing musical secret.

Lola Anastova is an acclaimed classical pianist who is the centerpiece of the upcoming Classical Superstar Fantasy Concert – part of the legendary Neiman Marcus Christmas book – in which one lucky, and loaded, person will pay $1.59 million for a private piano performance.

But if the tables were turned, the dazzling piano diva confesses she’d pay big bucks to see a small show by her not-so-classical guilty pleasure.

Anastova, who recently released her first album, Debut, says, “I would give anything to be able to watch Rachmaninoff play, but I would also really enjoy Madonna. I think she’s great, I love what she does!”

And while one high-rolling fan will be cashing a big chunk of change to hear Anastova play, she’s not nervous about the pricey performance.

She says, “As long as the person doesn’t say, ‘Why don’t you play the violin?’ I’ll be fine!”

Anastova will be on the Today show this Thursday (Oct. 18). For more info, check out
