Adult Trick-Or-Treaters Plan To Have Sweet Halloween

MONTEREY, Calif. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Halloween isn’t just for kids anymore.

At least that’s according to the Dreams and Nightmares ’07 survey by, which reveals that the Halloween spirit is alive and well in American adults.

The spooky holiday is hitting such a sweet spot in adults that 25 percent plan to dress up in costume this year, and 20 percent plan to go trick-or-treating for themselves!

Other sweet stats include...

  • 73 percent of grown-ups have Halloween plans, while nearly 50 percent of all adults say Halloween is one of their top three favorite holidays.

  • 44 percent of parents plan to decorate their homes for the frightening festivities, spending an average of $76 on the decor.

  • Finally, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie top this year’s list for the most anticipated adult couple costume, beating out other celeb couples like Bill and Hillary Clinton, David and Victoria Beckham, and Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes.
