Scorpions Get Lost, But Their Songs Live On

MANAUS, Brazil (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – For one band of classic rockers, the real heart of rock and roll isn’t on the computer – it’s deep in the jungle.

German hard rockers Scorpions had hits in the 80’s and 90’s with “Rock You Like A Hurricane” and “Wind of Change,” but for their new album, Humanity – Hour 1, singer Klaus Meine says the thrill is gone – or harder to find – when it comes to new music.

Meine says, “Everyone now is downloading stuff, and that’s a lonely place to be. There’s still a demand for a big rock show, because that’s something you cannot get in front of a computer.”

And while Scorpions are currently rockin’ out in remote jungle locations as part of their tour through Latin America, Meine says his band’s classics will never get lost.

He says, “You can’t go to any karaoke bar in any Asian country, and not find Scorpions.”

Humanity – Hour 1 hits stores August 28.
