Back To School Means Back To Feng Shui

RICHMOND, Va. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – An expert in the ancient Chinese art of “feng shui” has some tips for kids who want to do better in school this fall.

Robyn Bentley, who calls herself the “Feng Shui Diva,” says the direction a student’s head is pointing when he or she sleeps can make or break their chances for straight-A’s.

In feng shui, every person has four positive energy directions and four negative energy directions, and Bentley says if the crown of the child’s head is pointed in a bad direction, they’ll be “energetically oppressed” every hour they lie in bed.

She compares the bad vibes to being poked in the side every few minutes and says there’s no way a kid is going to do well in school when that’s going on 6-8 hours every night.

If good grades are a student’s goal, the Feng Shui Diva recommends pointing the head in his or her “wisdom direction.” But if bad behavior is the issue, point the bed toward the “family harmony” direction.

She offers a chart to find personalized positive and negative directions on her website,
