PBS Series Literally Brings Words to Life

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – There’s a new series that’s leaving kids spellbound by bringing words to life – literally!

The new PBS series WordWorld is helping turn babies into bookworms and presenting kids with a fresh approach to learning by showing 3-D animations of characters and objects built by words.

Tina Peel, executive vice president of WordWorld, says this original approach to learning makes kids, “fall in love with words by having them come to life.”

Though this learning method isn’t patented, positive feedback from kids has given Peel motivation to keep turning the page.

She says, “The show could be a phenomenon that captures imaginations.”

And while kids can enjoy watching words come alive, grown ups can dream up a WordWorld of their own.

When it comes to the word she would most like to see come to life, Peel says, “I want ‘peace,’ but most of the time I just want ‘chocolate.’”

WordWorld premieres September 3rd on PBS.
