Singer Wants A Revolution

COLUMBUS, Ohio (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – For one feisty female rocker, there’s more to music than sex and stripping.

Marti Dodson rocks the mic with her band Saving Jane, and the empowering entertainer is showing her female fans another side of stardom.

Dodson says, “There’s more to being a female singer than taking your clothes off and shaking your booty.”

Dodson, who cites brassy broads Stevie Nicks and Pink as influences, says that while she’s not fighting to become a role model, she’s more than willing to take the job, especially with the public pratfalls of stars like Lindsay Lohan and Britney Spears.

She says, “I’m responsible to the people buying tickets to my show. People pay extra attention to you if you’re in the spotlight – you owe it to your fans not to lose your mind in public.”

One Girl Revolution hits stores August 7th. For more info, check out
