Make A Splash With Healthy Pee

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – With summer in full swing, make sure your pee looks as good as you.

That’s the advice from Dr. Larrian Gillespie, former urologist and author of You Don’t Have To Live With Cystitis (HarperCollins), who says routine checks for pee color can keep you and your bladder out of hot water.

Dr. Gillespie says to watch for a dark yellow toilet tint, which is a sign of dehydration, while clear pee means you’ve been drinking too much water and pissing away nutrients.

And don’t be alarmed by red urine – it may just be a side effect of eating blackberries or beets!

Gillespie says, “Pay attention to your body. You don’t want it to look like the Easter Bunny got into your toilet.”

For beach babes, Gillespie avoids lounging in a damp swimsuit, which restricts air circulation and leads to bladder battles.

But don’t worry, splashing in the ocean won’t affect your pee.

Gillespie says, “Swimming in the ocean is fine, as long as you don’t drink it.”
