Thats the note from modern rockers Eve To Adam, whose recent tour with American Idol alum Chris Daughtry opened the New York-based musicians to a much softer audience.
Frontman Taki Sassaris explains, Daughtry was cool and down to earth, but his crowd definitely wasnt ours. It was all middle-aged soccer moms. His shows were 98 percent women, and two percent men dragged by their girlfriends. It was okay though we got some of the younger girls to shake their junk.
And although Sassaris enjoyed playing for the ladies, he and the band were especially grateful for the male tag-alongs they encountered during the Daughtry tour.
Turns out Sassaris partied with the dragged Daughtry dudes, and told them, Thank God you guys are here, otherwise I was just going to get wasted and laugh at Daughtry all night!
