Tea-Infused Cocktails Keep You Cool And Refreshed

FAIRFIELD, Conn. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – If booze is your cup of tea, then a company in Fairfield, Connecticut, has the perfect idea for you.

Cindi Bigelow, co-president of the Bigelow Tea Company, has just come up with some “Naughtea” recipes – which combine tea and liquor into tasty cocktails.

Although the teas can be mixed with all different types of booze, Bigelow says some of the best recipes call for vodka.

For example, the “Greenie Martini” combines green tea, fresh water, vodka, and a squeeze of lemon in a martini glass for a twist on the traditional cocktail.

The “Constant Comment Cosmopolitan” takes the first original Bigelow tea flavor and combines it with fresh water, cinnamon, sugar, orange juice, vodka, and ice into a cosmo that could knock the socks off the ladies from Sex In The City.

And while the naughtea cocktails are light, refreshing, and healthier than the average mixed drink, Bigelow still insists on drinking them in moderation.

She adds, “They’re so good you can’t even taste the booze. So make sure you pace yourself and drink them in a nice martini glass so you remember it’s alcohol!”
