According to The National Enquirer, doctors believed they had beaten Fawcetts cancer but recently found a small, malignant polyp in her body.
Sources close to the Charlies Angels star say the surgeons opted not to remove the polyp for fear that it might increase the risk of spreading cancerous cells.
Now, insiders say the doctors plan to place a small metallic seed in the cancerous area, designed to emit radiation and hopefully destroy the harmful polyp.
Fawcett has already endured harsh treatments for her previous bout with cancer, and theres no word yet on how shes dealing with her new diagnosis.
