The Wrong Songs On Mother’s Day

SAN DIEGO (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Mother deserves to have her praises sung this Mother’s Day (May 13), but be careful what songs you sing to her.

That’s because many of the most famous “Mom” songs could actually hurt Mother’s feelings.

For instance, John Lennon’s “Mother” includes the lines, Mother, you had me/ But I never had you/ I wanted you/ But you didn’t want me/ So I got to tell you goodbye.

Other mommy music to avoid on Mom’s day include Danzig’s “Mother,” which growls Mother, tell your children not to walk my way/ Tell your children not to hear my words.

Eminem’s touching ode to motherhood, “Cleaning Out My Closet,” rhymes Bch, do ya song, with Keep telling yourself that you was a Mom.

Finally, you may enjoy Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody,” but there’s no reason Mom should hear the lyrics, Mama, just killed a man/ Put a gun against his head, pulled my trigger now he’s dead, on her special day.
