8.5 Percent Of Kids Addicted To Video Games

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – A new survey paints an ugly picture about kids and video games: About 8.5 percent are clinically “addicted.”

According to Harris Interactive, 8.5 percent of kids under the age of 18 have a “pathological” addiction to the game, and even 23 percent of kids feel they’re playing too much.

In fact, the average youngster plays video games about 14 hours each week.

Naturally, boys are more likely to have the joystick monkey on their back: 31 percent feel “addicted” compared to 13 percent of girls.
