There’s No Place Quite Like Home For ‘October Road’ Star

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – There’s no place like home – especially when nothing changes.

At least that’s what actor Bryan Greenberg noticed when he returned to his home town of St. Louis for a wedding recently.

It was life imitating art for Greenberg, who plays a screenwriter who returns home after ten years on the new show October Road.

In fact, he says he felt like his character when he ran into old high school buddies around town.

Says Greenberg: “It’s cool and weird going home. I ran into a guy I used to get drunk with and it was like no time had passed at all – it was a time warp. Then someone came up with two DVDs and asked for my autograph and it all changed.”

Greenberg also admits it was also weird to run into his high school crush because she hadn’t really changed either.

As he puts it, “It’s kind of sad to see where people’s lives take them.”

October Road premieres tomorrow (Mar. 15) on ABC.
