How Much Would You Pay For Personal Baseball Writer?

PHOENIX (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Baseball season doesn’t start for another month or so, but a Phoenix man is offering to cover all bases for one lucky fan.

Manny Stiles, who runs the armchairgm.com website, is currently auctioning his services as a sportstwriter on eBay.com, and promises to devote himself to the winning bidder’s favorite team.

That means if you’re a fan of the Kansas City Royals or San Diego Padres, Stiles promises to write at least 50 articles per season on your favorite team.

Naturally, the Phoenix-based Stiles hopes that the winning team turns into a Cinderella story a la the Detroit Tigers, but he figures even a lousy team like the Tampa Bay Devil Rays will have some good stories as well.

In fact, Stiles promises that his stories will be nothing like the usual sports stories. He plans to do a tarot card reading for one story and focus on batting gloves for another.

The auction ends March 5 and Stiles promises to donate the money to charities dealing with pediatric AIDS.
