‘Amazing Race’ Rejects Cross Fingers For Travel Gig

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – John Vito Pietanza and Jill Aquilino may have been be the first team eliminated on The Amazing Race: All-Stars, but they’re still holding out for TV offers.

The couple were eliminated this past Sunday (Feb. 18), but they say doing the show twice has given them both the showbiz bug and the travel bug.

In fact, the couple – who are no longer romantically involved – agree they would love to do a travel show together.

Says Aquilino: “After season three we got asked to come do a show in Singapore – the country where we got eliminated – and it was a lot of fun.”

The duo is crossing their fingers that they’ll get a call from Cotopaxi National Park in Ecuador – the site of their latest elimination – to host a show but if that doesn’t happen they want to take a “nice, relaxing vacation.”

Says Pietanza: “I like my vacations to not mirror the intensity of the race.”
