MANHATTAN, Kan. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) Chowing down on dog food
and sipping breast milk might make some people queasy, but
its just another work day for a research assistant in
Patricia Patterson works at the Sensory Analysis Center at
Kansas State University and its her job figuring out which
doggie treats have the least amount of crumbs and the right
consistency of breast milk.
She does this by eating, drinking and smelling the item to
make sure everything is just right.
Although most of the items she tests arent met for
people, Patterson doesnt mind snacking on doggie
delectables because it is way cleaner and healthier than
Her job sounds hard to stomach but Patterson claims she has
never thrown up while on the clock.
But there was the time she almost lost her lunch when she
was forced to try Durian, a smelly fruit from Thailand because
the flavor, the texture....everything about it was just
