Keep Santa From Suing You This Christmas

WASHINGTON (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – You better watch out. You better not pout. Santa might sue you for the cookies you leave out.

That’s the fear of Justin Wilson, spokesman for the Center for Consumer Freedom, a coalition of restaurants and food companies.

He says lawyers specializing in obesity cases may help Santa Claus sue the millions of American families who offer jolly St. Nick junk food and cookies on Christmas Eve.

In order to protect families from Kris Kringle’s legal team, the CCF is offering a “Christmas Cookie Liability and Indemnification Agreement.”

The document includes clauses for Claus to sign so he won’t sue you for failing to provide information about the cookies’ ingredients, or forgetting to warn him that eating too many cookies can lead to obesity.

Still, Wilson says it’s silly that there’s a need for the waiver.

Says Wilson: “By now, Santa should know that when he eats a cookie, it’s not exactly nutritious. The agreement helps him realize that.”
