‘Survivor’ Castoff Candice Says Experience Helped Her Medical Training

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Survivor contestants learn a lot about themselves while outwitting, outplaying and outlasting their competition – but Candice Woodcock says the experience helped her with her medical school training.

Woodcock – who was kicked off this past Thursday (Nov. 30) – is currently studying physiology at Georgetown University and says being sent to Exile Island on four different occasions showed her the depths of the human condition.

As she puts it, “I was starving. I would stand up and black out. It was hard just to function. I suppose that gives me insight to how someone suffering a disease might feel.”

Woodcock hopes to take that knowledge with her when she attends medical school next fall.
