The product is a bobblehead Muslim called Dashboard Mohammed.
Creator Timothy Ames came up with the idea after seeing the worldwide reaction to the publication of a cartoon depicting the Islamic prophet.
Islamic law forbid the depiction of the prophet and Ames admits that he was a tad nervous about marketing his bobbling Mohammed.
Still, hes been pleasantly surprised by all the support hes received especially with Muslim-Americans, who have been among his biggest customers.
Says Ames: They thought it was funny, and are just as concerned with the world as everyone else.
In fact, he says hes only gotten a few bad emails and says while he is aware that its against the rules of Islam to depict any graven images, hes not concerned of having a fatwa placed on him anytime soon.
