Nationwide ‘Horror Fest’ Promises To Frighten True Horror Buffs

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Halloween may be over but things are getting really scary starting November 17.

That’s thanks to something called Films To Die For: After Dark Horror Fest 2006, a 3-day horror film festival playing in 500 movie theaters and features eight independently made scary flicks.

The idea is the brainchild of Courtney Solomon, who wants the fright fest to be “something like Rocky Horror Picture Show, but with all types of horror that’s not tied to Halloween.”

Solomon handpicked each horror flick and figures each of them will provoke a certain morbid curiosity.

For example, the medical horror flick Unrest uses real dead bodies in some scenes and, according to Solomon, “You can see the how the gas in the body is moving.”
