‘The Class’ Cast Member Doesn’t Need To Reunite With Real Classmates Any Time Soon

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – It’s hard enough for some people to stomach the thought of a high school reunion but the new CBS sitcom, The Class, shows what happens when people from elementary school reunite years later.

Cast member Lizzy Caplan says playing a girl who reconnects with her former third grade classmates doesn’t make her nostalgic for her childhood pals – mainly because she’s still friends with many of them.

As she puts it, “Most of my good friends I’ve had since third grade or even younger.”

The Los Angeles native says many of her friends never left town and she’s in constant contact with them – so much in fact that she doesn’t have to resort to a Myspace account to keep in touch.

Says Caplan: “That whole concept kind of gives me the creeps although my friend and I have a fake account to check out people who did leave.”

The Class premieres September 18 on CBS.
