Biz Coaching Experts Give Opinions On Celebrity Coach-ability

KINGWOOD, Texas (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Simon Cowell may offer advice to American Idol singers but that doesn’t mean he can be coached himself.

So say two self-proclaimed experts on business coach-ability, Germaine Porche and Jed Niederer, authors of Coach Anyone About Anything: How To Help People Succeed In Business and Life (Penworth Publishing).

The two coaching experts say there are many celebrities who could use their brand of coaching as there are ones who would refuse it.

But, says Niederer: “George W. Bush would probably be very coachable, IF I could get his ear,” although he agrees it’s “getting his ear that would be the hard part.”

Two examples of un-coachable types would be Donald Trump and Cowell, however.

As Niederer puts it: “It wouldn’t matter what kind of coaching Donald Trump got, he’d probably think he already had the answer. And there’s probably no way to offer advice to Simon Cowell.”

Both agree, however, that Mel Gibson is in dire need of coaching lately, and, at this point, “would probably be very open to it.”
