Good-Tasting Food Leaves Hospital Out Of Puck

CENTURY CITY, Calif. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Most hospitals aren’t known for their food and a situation facing a hospital in Century City, California, explains why.

The newly-opened Century City Doctors Hospital features gourmet vittles designed by celebrity chef Wolfgang Puck, including dishes like gourmet turkey or beef sandwiches with sun- dried tomato or basil aioli; grilled salmon with cucumber; and curry chicken.

All the dishes are electronically cross-referenced with a patient’s medical chart to encourage patient safety and hospital officials say the gourmet meals are getting raves for their good taste.

However, there have been some complaints.

Hospital CEO Joel Bergenfeld says the meals are so delicious that, “People are calling the kitchen and asking for more and larger portions of the food because their visitors are eating it before they do.”
