The 63-year-old singer says his son, screenwriter Christian Forte, has been nagging him to finish his autobiography, which both consider a great coming-of-age story.
But Forte admits hes having a hard time writing it because documenting some of his early years is a little painful.
As he recounts it: Going into show business wasnt a big desire. It was sort of thrust on me and I did it because my father couldnt work because of a heart attack.
But theres currently a lot of projects distracting Forte, as well, including hosting Fabians Goodtime Rock N Roll Show, a review featuring Bobby Vee, Chris Montez and the Chiffons playing now at the Dick Clark Theatre in Branson, Missouri.
