Marsha Mason Scaring Up Work With Stephen King

SANTA FE, N.M. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Marsha Mason doesn’t work full time as an actress these days – but that doesn’t mean she has to scare up work.

When Mason isn’t acting, she runs a successful herbal farm in Santa Fe, New Mexico, growing herbs for both edible and medicinal uses.

The former Goodbye Girl star isn’t just sitting on a ranch chewing grass: The job requires her to study the esoteric details of farming, including soil diversity, fertility and how following the lunar calendar affects plant growth.

The time spent on the farm must be working out for her, as her herbs are now on the shelves of major chains like Whole Foods.

But Mason isn’t abandoning acting. In fact, she plays a woman who discovers her nephew has an evil painting in Nightmares And Dreamscapes, a Stephen King anthology series that debuts July 12 on TNT.
