Americans Have A Beef With Turkey And Veggie Burgers

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Hamburgers don’t have ham in them and the majority of Americans don’t want turkey or veggies on them either.

A new poll by Johnny Rockets reveals that 85 percent only want burgers made with beef.

By comparison, only 5 percent enjoy turkey burgers, the same percentage that eats veggie burgers.

After that, the burger lovers become more divided as to what else makes a good burger.

  • 37 percent only want lettuce, onion and tomatoes on their burger.

  • 18 percent want to double the meat and cheese.

  • 16 percent like to fancy up their burgers with gourmet toppings.

  • 14 percent prefer their burgers with barbecue sauce, onion rings and bacon.

  • Finally, 6 percent say the best burgers have nothing but chili, cheese and onions.
